Archie Shkop is the Principal of Shkop Financial Services and a managing partner at Mozart Healthcare.
Shkop Financial Services is a consulting group specializing in the LTC arena. As the Principal of Shkop Financial Service, Archie provides a myriad of services to clients in the LTC industry including oversight of the underwriting process, financial analysis/reporting, and cost containment programs. In addition, Archie is responsible for working closely with each client’s CFO/Controller to assist them in developing, maintaining and refining all aspects of financial reporting, performance and quality assurance. Shkop Financial Services currently services 30+ skilled nursing facilities that account for over 5,000 licensed beds and upwards of 5,000 employees.
Mozart Healthcare is a senior living real estate management firm that was founded by a group of seasoned healthcare professionals. Mozart Healthcare believes that the relationship between landlord and tenant runs deeper than simply collecting rent. Archie brings a wide range of professional experience in helping senior living facilities achieve success by building the foundation for synergies amongst the various operational and financial departments that allow for innovative and real time financial reporting. In addition, Archie has had tremendous success in helping facilities decrease their operating costs while increasing their quality mix by making informed and targeted financial investments and employing technology and economies of scale to minimize costs while maximizing quality.
Prior to starting Shkop Financial Services, Archie served as the CFO of Managcare (recently rebranded as Mosaic Healthcare) located in Lincolnwood, IL that is comprised of 10 skilled nursing facilities. In addition, while at Managcare Archie oversaw the implementation of new software/platform for accounting, EMR, time and attendance, Payroll and purchasing.
Archie is a Certified Public accountant. He volunteers at the Chicago Chesed Fund and is a board member with the JUF young finance committee.
